High-Speed Internet
You can't truly access the world if the world can only access your busy signal. That's why you need Alltel's Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL). ADSL lets you surf the web and answer your calls at the same time. It uses your existing telephone line, along with special high-speed modems, to transport data without affecting voice communication.
Because it is digital, the ADSL enables high-speed data transfer two hundred times faster than a traditional modem, up to 256Kbps, for quick Internet access, fast downloading and smooth online graphics. Using the phone simulataneously does not affect the speed of data transmission, because the voice and data messages use different frequencies on the shared line. Which means you can e-mail your mother while ordering a pizza.
